No half measures.

Everything you do ... do it from the heart.”
~ unknown

I love that.
It makes so much sense.
If you’re going to do ANYthing
at all, you should do it completely.

NO half measures.
NO not giving it your all.
It’s what I strive for.
It drives my family NUTS.
Particularly when it’s something I’m passionate about.

The hound knows this too.
Mini Me!  5 month old Poppy running through the mudflats with the hound.

Whilst she might enjoy the extra long rambles through the mudflats,
she DOESN’T
enjoy having to wait
whilst I stalk the feathers.

She’s a past master of the ‘resigned’ look.
She has it down pat.

Our rambles these past few days
 have taken us further afield.
Courtesy of Aunty Y of course.

Having her vehicle for two
 afternoons a week gives us
wings.

Figuratively speaking.
Whilst the skies might be dull and grey,
Autumn is not.
Mother Nature has gilded the trees in a kaleidoscope of colour.
It’s an absolute riot.

We’ve rambled far and wide.
Up street, down dale.
Through mudflats
and tidal pools.
Over rocks and
up and down stairs.

It’s been SO much fun.
A veritable feast for the soul.
And all SO essential.
There would be less angst and heartache in the world
if all could feed their soul as much as we do.
“The world is full of magic things,
patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.”
