I KNOW I am mad.

Another gem from Salvador Dali
“There is only one difference between a madman and me.
The madman thinks he is sane.  I know I am mad.”

My hound is the OCD hound of the doggy world where logs are concerned.  If there’s a log to be found, she will find it. I’m at a loss to understand why I continue to take the rugby ball to the beach when there’s a plethora of logs for her to choose from.

I guess the day I DON’T take the rugby ball to the beach will be the day there’s no logs to be found.

It’s a log-loving hound’s paradise at the moment though.  Logs in every shape, form and size ... from pretzels for the littler hounds to mammoth cabers for the large ones.
My city from a different perspective ... during the Twilight walk for Breast Cancer
Yes ... she’s a caber type of hound.
Bandit joined the hound in leaping off the rocks ... but only once.
He WASN'T doing that again!
Despite the abundance of logs on the beach today, there wasn’t an abundance of hounds.
The wind put paid to that.

It’s a lonesome ramble on mornings like this.  Our only company were the peeping tom kitties sussing out the availability of breakfast .... the flying kind of breakfast.  One large ginger Tom shrunk back into his hiding place as he espied the large chocolate brown hound lumbering past.  Little does he know, but she’d more likely lick him to death than chase him.

She sees other kitties as an extension of her existing feline family.

That ginger Tom wouldn’t have had much luck finding breakfast of the feathered kind though.
They were all grounded, courtesy of the Wellywood wind.
I do wish Wellywood would keep it’s wind to itself.

It has BLOWN all day.  White-capped waves ... seagulls flying in reverse ... dishevelled hairdos and disgruntled pedestrians.  My little village has had it all.  That wind whistles through cracks you didn’t even know were there.

NOT that I had time to notice.
Yesterday's sunrise .... today's was hidden by a blanket of cloud ... AND rain!
There are days when the shop is so busy that I don’t even have time to blink ... let alone go for a wee!  The bright and eclectic mix of clothing we have draws customers in for a closer look.  They don’t always buy but they DO leave with a smile. Bright sunshiny colours do that to a person.
Storm approaching.
Even on the dark days my days are SO made up of sunshine.

Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.”
~ Eckhart Tolle
All kitted up for the Pink Star Walk ... was so much fun.
