I smile ... and the world smiles with me ..

Hmmm .... a water bowl for the cat ....

Stop world ... I want to get off!!  I can’t keep up with all this madness that’s surrounding me and infiltrating my thoughts and feelings.

Life is constantly changing .... constantly reinventing itself ... but just sometimes I wish it would stop.  Just sometimes I want to catch

up with the changes that have just happened before I face the new ones that are already making their presence felt .... it’s all too much for a girl to deal with at times!

I smile ... and the world smiles with me, most of the time .... but sometimes, even that sunny smile hides a thousand tearful thoughts .... a million questions ...... and no answers .... and then I read this quotation ..

“The more people you inspire, the more people will inspire you”

Sometimes we don’t need to do anything special to be inspirational ... I never thought, when I started writing my blog, that anyone would be interested in my daily photos and musings while I rambled .... BUT people ARE interested and it’s that interest that has inspired me to continue. 

The kitties are looking like kitties now!

There have been days when the difficulties I’m facing have seemed insurmountable and then I focus on the fun and beautiful things I’ve seen on my rambles ... on the friendly and caring people I’ve met .... on the sunshine and the blue skies .... the

storm clouds and the soaking rain ... on the rainbows and the butterflies .... and a calmness returns to my soul.  I can do this ... it doesn’t matter WHY everything is happening as it is ... all that DOES matter is that I never lose my faith and belief in me.  I have an

inexhaustible ability to see humour in everything around me and to see something good in everyone .... yes, even the GOM ... I need to hold fast onto that.

As I’m writing this blog Tiger, the younger of our 2 cats, has jumped on the table to look at the flowers Julia surprised me with today ... he sat down right next to the vase - it’s quite a tall one .... and started drinking the water.  It was just too cute!!  So what do I do ... yep, I grabbed the camera and took some pics.  I wish I’d been closer but if I’d have moved around the counter he’d have stopped .... it’s moments like this that make every day special ... it’s moments like this that make me smile!

Yep .... that makes so much sense ... everything we have, everything we are is wasted if we don’t share it with others .... if we don’t share OURSELVES with others.

That’s what you get when you read my blog ... you get to share my unique perspective on life .... my view on what’s happening out there in my little world ... interspersed of course with pics of all the beautiful things I see on my morning rambles, and yes, that includes my hound. She is

an integral part of my life and my morning rambles wouldn’t be the same without her .... for a start, how would I know where to go .... my navigational skills are abysmal ... she’s my GPS!

So, to those of you who say my blog inspires you ... know that you are MY inspiration!  We rock!
