Tweedle-dee and Tweedle-dum |
Sunset a few nights ago |
How I wish I had a magic wand that I could wave and out of chaos would come order and harmony. Life’s not like that. Sometimes I wish it was.
Sam LIKES coffee!! |
The hound hasn’t been fazed by the move at all ... she lives for the present, in the moment. The people she loves are here, her needs are met as and when they arise so she just lies on the floor and watches the chaos unfold. Would that we could all handle change in our lives just as easily as she does.
... and I'm NOT the only one who gives it to him! |
I should watch and learn.
No satellite and no internet over the weekend meant no rugby. I get the feeling the Flightless Fowl’s match wouldn’t have been worth watching as they steam-rollered Ireland. I’d have loved to see the whole of the Aus/Wales and the SA/England matches though. Pete at the Co-op feels like I do about Wales ... they’re a team with potential and could be a force to be reckoned with at the next World Cup. They sure made Australia work to win their games.
One end of the rainbow .... |
It’s been a wet, windy and WILD day here today .... an icy day .... not the kind of day where you want to be outside for very long. Even our ramble was cut short as it wasn’t pleasant in the waves at all.
.... and the other end of the rainbow! |
Sam has decided that he likes rugby balls. He finally worked out this morning how to carry one and padded proudly along the sand with the hound’s Welsh ball in his mouth. Definitely time for Carol to buy him an Aussie one. She’s in Aus this week for a half-marathon so the timing couldn’t be better ... she can pick one up whilst she’s there.
He’s got this whole log retrieving thing sussed too .... well .... except when he decides to help fetch the log whilst he's still got the ball in his mouth! He’s not an Aussie dog for nothing though .... we throw the log, the "Kiwi bitch" fetches it and he gets praised for helping her bring it back to shore. Who said the Aussies were dumb?
